Has your dog ever been in a near death accident?
Whether it be with a disease, an attack by another dog, almost being hit by a car, or surviving the first few weeks of life without,a mom or in a poor condition. Was your dog rescued or saved from a serious situation or background?
For one my Terrier mix was attack by a Rottweiler once at a dog park. I adopted a dog that was supposedly dropped of on the side of a busy highway and was almost hit two times before being brought to me, and I fostered a puppy that had a serious skin condition.
Yes, actually.
We have a JRT, and we were walking him past a neighbours garden. Someone new had moved in. We heard a dog barking the other side of the gate, but we figured it will be okay because we thought the garden was secure. But seconds later, a Pit Bull came out of a hole in the hedge and launched an attack on little Charlie.

(Just for the record, I don’t have anything against Pit Bulls, just that one!)
EDIT: I don’t know if this counts, but we had a collie cross spaniel who lived to the good old age of 16. A friend of the family got her, then the wife decided she didn’t like her so she was due to go to a small local shelter. My dad quickly leapt in and said we would have her. We got our cat the same way. (They gave up the cat because they were getting the dog. Stupid, I know!!) anywho, about a month after we got them, the RSPCA did a raid on the shelter they were going to and found dozens of dead and dying animals. Lucky escape for both of them I’d say!!
